As we know, our life becomes better and better because of steady improvements in the economy. But there appear many problems. For example, there are many people who commit suicide because of heavy stress. I don’t think good condition can make people happy.
A survey indicates that there are four traits of happy people. First, happy people, especially in individualistic Western cultures, like themselves. If people don’t believe themselves, they will not believe anything. I think good opinions of themselves are very important.
Second, happy people typically feel self-control. If you want to get success, you must have strong capacity of control yourself because everyone has inertia. Deprived of control over one’s life, people will suffer lower morale and worse health.
Third, happy people are usually optimistic. Once people have no expectation, they will lose goals and directions in life.
Fourth, happy people tend to be extroversive. If he is an introversive man, he likes to live and work alone, he will not get happiness. No one will share happiness and pain with him.
