My view of happiness
I don’t think men are happier than women because of their greater incomes and social power. As we know, men are the main role of the family. They have much stress. They have their own dream but they may give it up for their wife and children. They must work hard and earn much money to raise their family members. Although their work is very tired, they feel happy because they can make their wife and children’s life well. If their wife and children don’t understand their and complain their less income. They will feel very sad and unhappy. Then they may lose heart and drink some wine to forget vexation.
I don’t think women are happier than men because of their supposedly greater capacity for intimacy and social connection. Most of women think the family is the most important in their life. They will try to take care of their husband and children. If their husband and children don’t understand their tired and ignore their feel. They will feel unhappy and get depressed. So I think women’s feeling is very important. We must try to understand it, or they will feel unhappy for ever.
